In this unit we will learn what logarithms are, how to simplify them, and how to solve them. These inverses of exponential functions will be a great start for this semester – we will be moving to exponential functions and then graphing both types of functions in future units. But for now, we answer the following question: “This number, raised to what power, will give you a certain answer?”
